It is a well-known fact that human skin turns sunlight into Vitamin D. Now, with all the new and outstanding research going on to better understand plant behavior and properties, could it be that we will eventually find a way to also convert sunlight into proteins? Or could we be using clothing with photosynthesis properties and then absorb the proteins directly from the clothing? It seems that we are at the gates of a new frontier, with quite unexpected possibilities to feed and help the survival of humans on Earth or other planets.
